About Mission Community Church

Mission Community Church is a new Southern Baptist church being planted in Four Corners, Florida. We exist to glorify God by making disciples who make disciples.

Our desire is to proclaim the gospel clearly, help people grow as followers of Jesus, and equip believers to live as everyday missionaries where they live, work, learn, and play.

After years of serving in local-church and young-adult ministry in Mississippi, Joseph and Teresa Bozone sensed God’s leading their family to plant a new church. In August 2026, they moved with their two sons to the Four Corners, Florida area to begin learning the community, building relationships, serving their neighbors, sharing the gospel, and gathering people who may want to help form a new church.

The name Mission Community Church reflects our ministry vision: believers living on mission as everyday missionaries, growing as disciples in Christian community, and gathering as the church to glorify God through worship before being sent back out on mission.

Our Story

Meet Joseph and Teresa

Joseph and Teresa were both raised in Mississippi and have been married since 2014. They have two sons, Sam and Si.

They are both graduates of Delta State University. Joseph earned a Master of Theological Studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2023. Their years of ministry have deepened their love for Christ, His Church, discipleship, and helping believers live on mission in everyday life.

As a family, they enjoy serving others, exploring their community, and building relationships with the people God places around them.

Why Four Corners?

Four Corners is a growing and diverse community made up of people and families from many different places and backgrounds. We believe God has brought us here to know and love this community, serve our neighbors, proclaim the good news of Jesus, and make disciples.

We do not want merely to hold events in Four Corners. We want to become part of the community—present in its neighborhoods and everyday spaces, listening carefully, building genuine friendships, and faithfully pointing people to Jesus.

Where We Are Now

Mission Community Church is currently in the early stages of starting. We are not yet holding a regular weekly worship service.

Right now, we are meeting neighbors, serving our community, sharing the gospel, and gathering people who are interested in learning more or helping form this new church. As relationships develop, we plan to begin initial gatherings for fellowship, prayer, Bible study, and worship.

If you live in or near Four Corners and are interested in following Jesus, learning more about MCC, attending an upcoming gathering, or helping start a new church, we would love to connect with you.

Where We Are Headed

We are starting a church that is:

Gospel-centered
We want the good news of Jesus Christ to shape everything we believe and do.

Faithful to Scripture
We believe the Bible is God’s Word and our ultimate authority for belief and practice.

Relational
We believe discipleship happens through meaningful relationships within the life of the local church.

Missionary
We believe every believer is sent by Jesus to live as an everyday missionary in the ordinary rhythms of life.

Multiplying
We want to make disciples who help make other disciples and to equip leaders who can multiply groups and churches.

Simple and responsible
We want to practice good stewardship by focusing our time, energy, and resources on the mission Jesus has given His Church.

We summarize this vision as:

Go with the gospel through intentional presence and faithful witness.

Grow as disciples through Christian community.

Send to multiply disciples, leaders, and churches.
